http://EVA.ai uses sprints & agile methodology to quickly introduce significant new pieces of functionality, or deliver packages of iterative changes. By working in sprints, we are able to solve problems in smaller chunks, ensuring that we achieve the expected results along the way.
Our approach includes:
Business analysis and requirement gathering up front, in the form of user stories
Interactive mockups for new interfaces, where prospective users can examine and give feedback before they are built and integrated at higher cost
1-2 month delivery cycles, meaning that plans for future projects can be adjusted to accommodate business cycles, strategy changes and new opportunities
Comprehensive testing, using test automation, manual testers and staging platforms
New Features Request
The feedback of our customers is very valuable for us so we encourage all of our clients to share their comments with us (via Intercom, Slack, Google Docs).
Feature types that can be requested by you:

Free feature request | Free | Will be prioritised according to EVA impact score. Only features with high impact across multiple clients get developed. | You request a new functionality that is not covered by your contract. Tell us if it is critical, important or nice to have. |

When a client requests a new feature - your representative will give a score based on how many clients and how critical the new feature is.
The reason for this approach is that our developer’s time is limited and precious so we want to make sure to prioritise the features which can be beneficial to multiple clients and solve critical HR/Recruitment problems.
When a feature reaches a sufficient score, then our team will start to work on it. First, we’ll do business analysis in order to fully understand the new feature and consider all the possible scenarios for the implementation and after that our developer’s team will develop the feature.
Before going live the feature will need to go through our testing team.
The timeline for all of this process may vary. This is depending on the complexity of the feature and on when the testing team will give us the green light.
Sponsor a New Feature:
If a feature doesn’t reach a sufficient score, you can sponsor the feature to have your request implemented but we will need to go through the same process I described above.
How we scope, give estimates, send invoices.
For the estimation of a new feature our team will evaluate:
Numbers of hours of Business Analysis;
Number of hours of Development;
Numbers of hours of Testing;
Numbers of hours of CS;
Urgency.
New Release Process
http://EVA.ai generally releases a considerable software update every 3-6 weeks.
The criteria of features included in a new release contain a number of requests which were flagged as Important or Critical.
To give a better understanding on how our releasing process works see all the steps below:
Product Team decides which feature to include in next release;
Business Analysis team starts a deep investigation of the feature;
Development team works on the implementation;
Testing team accepts feature in testing environment;
Once the Testing Team has given the green light, we release the feature to the Production environment and the updates are available to the client.
Depending on the testing process, the time of the effective delivery of the release may vary.
Before each release our CS team will make sure to create sufficient training materials and notify the client on planned release time and date.
