How to pause and resume chat messages

Pausing messages is necessary when agents want to send a manual message to a candidate. Generally, once the agent engages in chat with the candidate,  the EVA bot moves to a paused state. In any case where the BOT conversation has to be paused, follow these steps: 

 

  1. Select the candidate profile from the Candidate section.

  2. Click on the Interactions option in the blue panel. 

  3. Start typing in the text area at the bottom of the middle panel.

 

 

 

At this point, the Pause ChatBot option will be activated.

 

Note that the chatbot can be reactivated by clicking on the Resume ChatBot button. 

 

 

Candidate will start receiving EVA phrases once the agent clicks on Resume ChatBot in the Candidate Portal.
