How to Create a Job Request

In this training article, we will guide you through the process of creating a job request.

To get started, access the 'job request' tab from the left menu.

Upon reaching this page, you will find a list view displaying any existing job requests that have already been created.

 

 

Simply click on the little green plus icon to create a new one.

 

In this section, you can include the following fields when creating a job request:

  • Title: Provide the name of the job request.

  • Company: Select the company to which the job request belongs.

  • Budget: Specify the offered salary or the budget available for this job request.

  • Work Location Type: Choose the location type for the job request, selecting from options like remote, travel to site, office-based, or partially remote.

  • Start Date and End Date: Indicate the dates when the job request should begin and end.

  • Main Requestor: Enter the name of the person requesting this job.

  • Assigned Agent: Assign the responsible person who will find candidates for this job request.

  • Address: Add relevant location information, including a specific address, city, or country, if necessary.

 

Once you have filled in these details, click on the 'submit' button, and the job request will be added to your list view.

Automatically, a status will be assigned to the job request, in this case, it is 'new job request.' However, keep in mind that this status is configurable. Additionally, you can access more information by clicking on the job request name to open a preview. For example, by clicking on 'general information,' you can enter the full-screen mode to view and modify further details.

 

 

In the ‘general information’ section you will be able to add notes on the right hand side by clicking on the pencil icon next to ‘notes’.

Keep in mind that these notes will be visible only to the recruiter/agent users of the platform who have this designed access.

 

Under ‘tags’ or ‘list’ you can also assign specific tags or already created list to this particular job request.

You can do this by simply click on the pencil icon next to each entity.

In the section labeled 'Job Request Details,' you have the option to specify the desired 'Degree Type' or 'Education' under the 'Education/Qualification' field. You can also indicate any language requirements under the 'Languages' section and list the necessary skills for the particular job request under the 'Skills' category.

 

Within the 'Job Request Files' tab, attaching any necessary files to the job request is simple. Just click on the small green plus icon to add the attachment. Please note that this attachment will only be visible to agent/recruiter user groups who have granted access to job requests.

 

 

The job request additional information tab allows you to edit the custom fields related to the job request and update them.

Important:

Job requests are overseen either by hiring managers or clients. To streamline the process, it's advisable for your administrator to establish automation that ensures job management is automatically assigned to agents (recruiters, sources, talent managers).
