This guide explains how to control job public sharing within the Eva Business Workflows (EBW) based on workflow status changes. This allows for better management of job visibility and public accessibility as workflow transitions occur.

In EBW, you can define actions that either enable or disable public job sharing. This guide focuses on how to add and configure these actions in job workflows. If public job sharing is enabled, the job will be visible to users, allowing them to apply. Additionally, if the job is active, it will appear in the Job Recommendation widget or the Recommended tab. If the job sharing is disabled, users cannot apply, but they can still check its availability status even though it is disabled.

This action, to enable/disable job sharing, is available only in the Job Workflow. It is not available in the Job Request Workflow or Pipeline Workflow.

How to Enable/Disable Job Public Sharing in Workflow Transitions

Also, please ensure that the required transitions are already configured in the Job Workflow and make sure to select the “Enable/Disable Job Public Sharing” action in the workflow transition.

Executing Actions by an Agent:

To verify if the above-configured action works for the job transition, follow the steps below:

• Navigate to Job FSEM

• Filter by the initial state provided in the workflow action 

above Ex: Active

• Manually change the status of Job from “Active” to Deployed”

• A pop window is displayed to confirm

• Click on “Confirm”

• If the Agent configures the action “ Enable public job sharing”, Public sharing of the job is now enabled

• If the Agent configured the action “ Disable public job sharing”, Public sharing of the job is now disabled

• Please note that it takes about 2 minutes to be reflected in the application
