Tags

Tags are fields that are used to add specific information to an entity. It allows clients to search across their entire database to find people with the same tag. Tags are customizable to the client request.

 

Tag is a library shared between the entities like Candidate, Contacts, Company and Jobs of the Agent Portal in EVA. Only the agent with administrator rights can create tags whereas the other users will make use of the tags and update the entities respectively.

 

 

Tags are a versatile tool within the EVA platform, allowing clients to append distinct information to different entities. This feature empowers clients to swiftly navigate through their database by searching for specific tags, refining and expediting the search mechanism.

Tailored to align with client requirements, these tags ensure that only pertinent and beneficial information is added. With the aid of tags, clients can seamlessly categorize and locate interconnected details, amplifying their proficiency and satisfaction in utilizing the EVA platform.

How to tag an Entity?

You can add tags to various entities within the EVA Platform, including candidates, contacts, companies, and jobs. The process for adding a tag is consistent across all entities, but it's important to note that only agents with the right permissions can populate the tags library.

 

There are two methods for adding tags:

  • 1. Access the system settings and navigate to the "Tags" tab. Here, you can view the existing tags taxonomy. To modify existing tags, click the pencil icon next to their name on the right. If you want to delete a tag, select the bin icon. If you wish to create a new tag, simply enter the desired tag name in the "Enter tag label" field and click the "Add tag" button.

 

  1. When you're navigating an entity like a candidate, contact, job, or company, specifically within the 'general information' tab, you'll find the 'Tags' field on the left side as you scroll down. Here, you can edit or add tags by clicking on the pencil icon. If the tag you want to use isn't currently available in the library, you can instantly create it by clicking on the message that will appear. For instance, you can click on the option 'Create new tag 'test tag' to add it as demonstrated below.

 

How to Bulk Tag?

If you want to add tags to multiple entities in bulk, please contact your customer success representative, who will assist you in transferring this information to the desired entities via migration.

How to use effectively Tags? 

Using Tags in List View:

  • Filtering Entities by Tags:

    • Tags can be employed to streamline your list view. You can quickly filter entities by using the "Tags" column. Simply select a specific tag to display only those entities associated with that tag.

Using Tags in Smart Match:

  • Tag Filters in Smart Match:

    • Tags can also be harnessed in the Smart Match feature. With tag filters, you can include or exclude candidates who have specific tags. This offers a more refined way to find the right candidates for your requirements.
