How to add skills to a candidate

Skills are a vital part of the candidate profile. Skills can aid the candidates in getting noticed by the employer with particular interests. Candidates can choose the relevant skills at the time of on-boarding. In EVA, the skills are displayed in the candidate profile so that the agents can view them at ease.

What are Individual skills and Group skills

Skills in EVA are classified into two types - Individual skills and Group skills. 

 

Individual skills: The skills which are standalone and do not relate to any category are called an individual skill.

 

 

Group Skills: A parent skill consisting of sub-skills is called a group skill. A good example of a group skill is IT which can have further classifications like Front-end developer, Back-end developer etc. 

 

 

The group skills can be identified by the expand/collapse button beside them. Moreover, the number of child skills available under a group are denoted beside the group name.

 

To view all the skills including the ones under a group, just click on the Expand all button. Similarly, click on the Collapse all button to minimize all the expanded skills at once.

How to view skills in candidate profile

The agent can view the skills added to the candidate profile by following the steps below:

  1. Select the candidate profile from the Candidate section.

  2. Click on the Candidate details option in the blue panel.

  3. On the right side panel, click on Skills

  4. If you click on Expand All, it will expand the skills and sub skills added to the candidate profile.

  5. If you click on Collapse All, it will not expand the sub skills added to the candidate profile.

 

How to add skills in candidate profile

Eva has an easiest method of adding skills to the candidate profile. Follow the below steps to add skills to a candidate profile.

  1. Select the candidate profile from the Candidate section.

  2. Click on the Candidate details option in the blue panel.

  3. On the right side panel, click on the Pencil icon next to the Skills header.

  4. Click on the drop-down and select the skills that you like to add to the candidate profile.

  5. To deselect the skills, click on the Close button which is displayed next to the list.
