How to create candidate list

In EVA, candidates can be filtered and saved as a list. There are two types of lists available in the system - Manual list and Smart list.

 

Manual lists are created to form lists of candidates which won’t automatically update. These lists remain static or fixed until and unless the agent adds or removes candidates. 

 

Smart lists are used by agents to build more intelligent workflows. Agents can define the parameters(e.g. Companies, job title, type of jobs etc.) required for building a curated list. These lists are customizable and keep on updating its records as and when a new candidate matching the smart list criteria is entered into the EVA system.

The benefits offered by smart lists are:

 

  • Ability to create dynamic and smart talent groups on the fly

  • Readjust and refine variables in a Smart lists

  • Auto-updated lists that includes new candidates once they are registered in the system

How to create a manual list

To create a manual list, follow the steps below:

  1. In Candidates section, enter a search parameter(e.g. Current position contains Technical Lead)

  2. Run the search

 

 

 

  1. Choose  the candidates to include in the list by enabling the corresponding checkboxes

  2. Click on the Update list option in the blue menu bar at the top.

  1. In the new dialog displayed, specify a list name and click on the Create new button.

 

How to create smart list

To create a smart list, follow the steps below:

  1. In Candidates section, enter a search parameter(e.g. Current position contains QA Engineer)

 

 

  1. Click on the Apply button to run a search.

  2. When the results appear, click on the Save button and select the option Save as new list

 

 

  1. Enter a name and click on the Save button.

 

 

Your smart list has been saved successfully.

How to access manual list and smart list

To find a list all you need to do is click on the All candidates icon which is  on the top left corner of the candidate section.

Once you click, on the pop-up all of your lists will appear and you can easily select your chosen one from this pop-up window.

 

In the case that you have numerous lists and this menu looks uncomfortable to search for a

specific list, you can click on the Open Lists button which will open a new menu on this page.

This new menu will allow you to use the search bar to quickly look for lists by name.

Smart lists and Manual lists can be easily distinguished by looking at the icons corresponding to them. Manual list is represented with a hand pointer icon whereas a Smart list is denoted by a funnel icon.

 

How to apply changes to your list

Manual lists and Smart lists can be edited or modified at any point. To edit the name of a list or delete the list, refer to the steps mentioned below:

 

  1. Click on All candidates icon

  2. Enter the name of the list to find the list

  3. Once the list name appears in the search result, click on the Edit pencil icon to modify the name of the list.

  1. To delete the list, click on the Delete icon.

 

How to add new candidates to the list

An agent can modify the existing list and append new candidates to the list. The steps below explains the method to add new candidates to the list:

  1. Click on All candidates icon and select the required manual list

  2. Select the + icon from the header section 

  3. Create a candidate profile

The newly added candidate will be appended to the existing list of candidates.

How to delete candidate from the list

Agents also have the ability to delete an existing candidate from the list. Follow the steps below to remove existing candidates from the list:

  1. Click on the candidates you would like to remove from the list

  2. Click on List and remove the candidate by clicking on the x icon

 

Tips: For easy navigation through the candidates in the Candidate section, you can click on any of the candidates and simply scroll down with down or up arrow in the keyboard.

This way you can select the candidate with the help of a keyboard.
