User Management
The User Management tab is a valuable feature accessible to specific users, primarily administrators. It empowers you with various capabilities to efficiently manage registered candidates, their passwords, login access, and user group assignments.
However, it's important to note that the passwords and login management tool is applicable only to fully registered candidates. If a candidate hasn't provided a password, certain functions like password reset or revoking single sign-on with Google won't be available.
Let's walk through an example scenario: sending a 'reset password' email to a registered candidate, allowing them to reset their password. Follow these steps:
Start by locating the candidate's profile within your instance.
Next, select the 'user management' option.
Click on ‘Reset Passwors’ to trigger an automatic email to the candidate.
Let’s now explore the ‘User Management’ tab.
This tab serves as a powerful tool for handling user-related actions, ensuring efficient and secure management of candidate accounts within the http://EVA.ai platform.
In the User Management tab, located at the center of your screen, you gain control over user logins within the EVA.ai platform. EVA.ai offers various methods for logging in, resulting in different options for login management, including the ability to 'revoke' access or 'reset passwords' when passwords are manually entered. Let's take a closer look:
Sign in with Email: This method involves candidates creating a password during registration by typing it in during a bot conversation. It's linked to the email address used during registration. Here, you can click 'reset password' to trigger an automatic email, allowing candidates to set a new password for login.
Sign in with Google Account: Candidates opt for this method when prompted to provide a password for login. As Google accounts are managed externally, we cannot initiate password resets. Candidates must manage their Google passwords independently. However, you can 'revoke' access via this single sign-in option.
Sign in with Facebook Account: Similar to the Google option, candidates choose this method during password setup. Since Facebook accounts are managed externally, password resets must be handled on the Facebook platform. Please note that this option needs to be enabled in your instance for candidates to use it. You can also 'revoke' access for this sign-in option.
Sign in with Corporate Account: This sign-in option is available if configured in your instance. It enables single sign-in using corporate credentials within your organization. You can also 'revoke' access for candidates using this method.
On the right side of the screen, under 'user groups,' you can manage user access and grant multiple types of access, such as 'candidate plus contact' or 'candidate plus agent.' To assign a specific candidate user group, click on the pencil icon next to 'user group' and select the appropriate user group from the dropdown list.
Additionally, you can provide multi-user access by clicking the green plus icon next to 'account type' and selecting the desired user access (e.g., agent or contact). This grants users access to the 'recruiter' side of the platform, enhancing their capabilities as needed.
